EMC needed to maintain relevance with their clients. They could not depend on their long-standing reputation among IT professionals as being one of the leaders in the storage world. The business of IT is changing in that it is not a decision held within one department and is now a fundamental decision based on the business model. We created a thought leadership platform around the topic of business innovation to establish EMC as a change agent in the IT industry.
